TV Today is a 24-hour National satellite television channel having its coverage across the country and footprint of coverage across Asia.  It is an infotainment channel with the prime focus on socio-economic, political, Entertainment, musical and cultural aspect. Need for the country for a development-devoted television, which is addressed by TV Today. Issues like agriculture, public health, education, environment, population, local development, natural resources, forestry and land management are the foundation of national development. But there is a gap between media and these development issues. Intervention of media in the development issue related news and views contributes the development process of country. TV Today has establish itself in the vacant space of development journalism. TV Today was established with motive to be pioneer and promote development through television journalism.
